Jerry Schmitt

National recording artist, The Jerry Schmitt Band, is a 6 piece high-energy group that has made a name for themselves by establishing their own original sound – a blend of modern and traditional country music with a rockabilly influence. Their sound appeals to young and old alike, and their love of performing and high energy stage presence makes each of his shows a unique experience for their fans.

The recent release of their first album, “100 Miles,” is already receiving radio air play not only in their home state of Wisconsin, but internationally in such diverse countries as Australia, Sweden and Romania. The album, consisting exclusively of their own original songs, has drawn rave reviews from people across the United States and abroad. Some have even referred to it as the best album released in 2008.

The Jerry Schmitt Band has shared the stage with numerous national acts including: Joe Nichols, Lee Brice, Randy Houser, John Conley, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Oak Ridge Boys, Danielle Peck, and Joe Diffie.

Jerry and his band were crowned the 2007 State Country Band Champions by the HODAG Country Music Festival. In addition to playing at many festivals, The Jerry Schmitt Band has also entertained at hundreds of Fireman's dances, beer tents, county fairs and rodeos across the Midwest.

The Jerry Schmitt Band has had the opportunity to play in Nashville numerous times at such legendary locales as Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, 12th & Porter and the historic Ryman Auditorium!!!!
