With a devilish smirk on his face, comedian Marc Ryan delivers a unique and memorable perspective on personal experiences that have taken him from small town Louisiana to Los Angeles pursuing a life in entertainment. His live stand up show incorporates his unique take on the world communicated through hilarious personal observations. From growing up in the South, to life in love, Marc holds nothing back.
Marc is a familiar face owing to his numerous TV appearances, starting his television career in 2001 on the hit CW sit-com “The Parkers”. He went on to appear on the TBS special “Pit Stop Comedy”, CBS’s “Star Search”, CMT’s “Greatest Redneck Moments”, and “Three Sheets” on Spike TV.
Currently you can see him on the new Outdoor Channel show "Outdoor Antics" (2013), a follow-up project to his inaugural Outdoor Channel show “Mudslingers” (2011-12), and as co-host of season one of the HDNet show “Drinking Made Easy (2010) now airing on AXS TV.
Expanding the scope of his projects beyond stand up and television, Marc has had immense success producing viral internet videos. His original character Steve (aka, “the DUI lawnmower guy”) and the subsequent “Steve” series of videos has surpassed 35 million views. As a result, Marc is a frequent television guest, discussing the “Steve” series videos on MTV Live, MSNBC, “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News, CNN’s “Showbiz Tonight”, “Maury Povich”, “Speeders” and more. Following up on the success of the “Steve” videos, Marc branched out further, producing three web series: "Heckler Fail", "Trying to Love Lucy" with “Beverly Hills Nanny” star Lucy Treadway, and most recently "Blacked Out".
Marc has established himself as a premier comedian over the past 20 years, and has been spotlighted by Comedy Central as one of the “Best of the Improv”. Marc appeared at the 2005 Montreal Comedy Festival, and from 2008 to 2009, he toured with Rodney Carrington performing to over 150,000 fans at some of the largest and most prestigious venues in the country.
All three of Marc’s live albums and one hour DVD special rank among the most popular on the Sirius XM Comedy channel’s Blue Collar, Raw Dog and Laugh USA channels, keeping Marc regularly in front of their 25+ million subscribers.
